A nice ceramic week and day!

This week has been a great ceramic week! Ksenia was here from Sunday till today. We have been working on our Matroyoskhas and it is going in the right direction with the project. I really enjoy to collaborate with Ksenia, I´ve learnt a lot from her, about ceramics and Russia. Today I drove her "home" to Guldagergård. We stopped at Grimmerhus, so she could see the MIUMI exhibition and I got the chance to see the exhibition of the lastest Network groups. At Guldagergård Ksenia made lunch for me and after a short look in the studios I went on.
Next stop Kr. Hyllinge to get my princess from the exhibition with Susanne Pedersen.
On the road again, taking a detour to Ringsted. Mette from Guldagergård told me that Malene Hartmann Rasmussen was going to have an opening on a project she did for a music and culturel school. It is so good! Im a big fan of her ceramics!

When I show you Maria Rubinke I have to show you Louise Hindsgavl too! Louise has been working many years now with her white porcelain figurines, they are scary too, especially because they show how real life is for some people. The titels tells what they are about. (and offcourse, I forgot to write the tites for theese...UPS!) The newest figurines has other materials as strings, birds and metal worked into the figurines, I like that! 100 kopper på 100 dage

100 Kopper på 100 dage.  Kimberly Young fra Birkelund Boutique inviterede mig til at deltage i dette projet og jeg takkede ja til udfordringen. Jeg nåede ikke at lave de 100 kopper inden dag nr 100, da jeg desværre havde et uheld med en brændning. Og sådan noget sker desværre oftere, når man arbejder under pres. Jeg har nu lavet over 100 kopper og lavet mange interessante erfaringer. Det har været spændende, igen at arbejde lidt som man gjorde på skolen og give sig selv lov til at eksperimenterer. En designprocess er en lille rejse i form, materialer og ideer. Jeg har lavet over 100 kopper, mange er nogle jeg aldrig vil gå videre med, mens der også er mange fine ideer der kunne blive til noget rigtig godt. Så Tak for udfordringen!
